All love begins and ends in God.

Home|Reflections|All love begins and ends in God.

Good morning good people. May the Lord give you peace and health.

It is 05th January 2016.  We reflect on 1 John 3:11-21 and John 1:43-51.

How can we bring out Christ from within us?

To lose patience is to lose the battle,” reminds Mahatma Gandhi.

Do you believe?” (Jn.1:50).  Affirmation is the answer in us.  But without genuine love for people and nature, we cannot believe in God and Christ.  Our conscience is constantly sedated by a sedentary lifestyle and sensations.  However, we have all the possible reasons to be good and truthful, yet we glide into evil and lies so leisurely.

Unless we crucify sins and selfishness, we cannot bring out Christ from within.  “By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” (1 Jn.3:16)

All love begins and ends in God.

The first reading highlights the power of God’s love.  St. John tells us that God is love.  All love begins and ends in God.  Love comes from God.  Our expression of loving God culminates in one another.

God’s love is seen in a loving mother, a caring father, protective siblings, and a mature understanding love of the elders.  God’s love is seen in every walk of life.

God is love but not the other way around.

We are created for others.  We are created by God to love.  When love fails, every other is bound to fail.  The power of God’s love is revealed through His beloved Son Jesus.  It is in self-giving that we begin to experience the purpose for which we are created.

Let our hearts never shrink in giving and sharing what we inherited from God.

May God bless you and never be tired of loving.

Have a good day.
